The goings on

Well, it's been almost an entire month since I've posted. Eh, I'm not sure there are too many people reading this though...so I wasn't too worried. lol. Though life's been busy this last month. Jer's business is booming and we're gonna actually have a garage soon!! :) It's strange how it came about, but I'm banking that how things occured is a blessing in disguise. :) I won't know what to do with a garage. Maybe store my lawn mower in it and keep it charged all the time, that way when the lawn needs mowing, I don't have to make sure I plan to charge it and whatnot.

Well, Oliver is growing like a weed!!



He's still small, relatively speaking, but much bigger since we got him. He's pushing 6lbs now. He still thinks that midnight is a great time to want to play with mom and dad. ::sigh:: he's a little fella and doesn't know what night time is. I never imagined I'd love this little guy this much, but he really is like my child. I know, it's silly, but he is. Petsmart is one of my new favorite places. lol!!

Well, I went to a new hair dresser and went in just thinking I'd get the split ends trimmed, but I took a plunge and let her do what she thought would look best on my hair and I got it cut shorter. She didn't do a bad job on it, I just now know for sure I like long hair. :) It actually takes me longer to get ready now cause there's more layers to fix and whatnot. It was probably good for my hair to loose some of the length so it can grow back healthy, but I do miss the length. Here's what it looks like most of the time:



Well, that's about the extent of what's been going on in the Clos house lately. :-)

Greetings from the beach

wow...I can TOTALLY get behind this kind of relaxation. I'm here at Atlantic Beach taking in the sea salty air and loving every minute. I've really discovered I like fishing...with the exception of actually having to take the fish off the line once you've caught it. hah!



The house we rented has a dock and we've done some fishing and crabbing. :)



It's so relaxing to sit out there with the pole in your hand and iPod going with some good music...or even without the iPod. It's so quiet and peaceful. Speaking of my iPod...I was able to get and load the new Sugarland CD in it before I left. Man, I'm REALLY loving this new disc of theirs. Jennifer kept talking about how 'organic' it was and I see what she ment now. It's a bit of a different sound, but not that different from their previous stuff. It's quite nice. So back to the vacation, so far we've caught a few crabs, but only 1 was a keeper. hah. Wow, I just looked up at the sky and it's so pretty. ::sigh:: well time to go enjoy more of this great weather and relaxation!! More pics:

more boredom

wow...I'm terribly bored here without my hunny.  Oliver is keeping me busy though.  :)  I'm sitting here while Oliver sleeps watching Hogan knows best. lol.  Jeremy would be dying right now.  But hey!  The TV is ALL mine! hehe!  I'm excited about tomorrow!  I'm going to my best friends house to hang out with them and go swimming!  :)  ::sigh:: time to go find something else to watch.  :)

Boredom

Well, Jeremy just left for his trip to meet Sig from the Northwestern boat from Deadliest Catch. For some reason I'm incredibly bored! We know that I'm ridiculously bored because I am here listening to Conway Twitty's Tight Fittin' Jeans and then there's Neil Diamond. Trust me, these are the kind of songs that just crack me up. I by no means am a Neil Diamond fan...LORD NO! But Sweet Caroline and America are songs that just crack me up! and to watch people perform these songs in karaoke is even better! Takes me back to when me and my best bud Sherri went on our cruise! We went to the karaoke bar nearly every night...and this dude did a few Neil Diamond songs...great entertainment! Now it's David Allen Coe!!! What an outlaw! hahahahah!

My newest love in life...

Well, I've now got a little man in my life that I simply love and adore. It's my new shih tzu puppy Oliver. :) We got him over the weekend while we were in South Carolina. We've been talking about getting a puppy for a while now and we wanted a little small dog. Oliver seems to be adjusting well to us.

Waxing or Waning?

LOL! Ok, so this past Friday I decided I would give into peer pressure and curiosity...I got my eyebrows waxed. This was quite an interesting experience. Mom's told me for years I needed to wax my eyebrows, and if I hadn't been in a salon and it had been more than what I paid, I'd have never done it. I really didn't know exactly what to expect. The wax actually felt kind of good when they put it on, it's just when they ripped it off, that's when it hurt. MAN did it sting. As you can see by the picture below, my skin was in total shock and NOT happy! hah! And believe it or not, I had to be out at a bridesmaid luncheon about 2 hrs after I did this! lol! :) I doubt I'll do it again, but I can say I'm glad I did it! heh! :)
